Kennel

Our kennel has spacious indoor and outdoor rooms that are temperature-controlled.  Multiple times per day, your pet is let out into the exercise areas. While your pet plays, our staff cleans the room and provides clean bowls with fresh water, food and bedding.

Medication

To ensure a thorough understanding of your pets specific needs, all medication records and instructions concerning medication or special requirements must be detailed to the receptionist in writing at check-in-time.  All medications and instructions with the pets name, owners name, veterinarians name and phone number are to be in a seperate ziploc bag.

Veterinary Services

If your pet requires veterinarian services during its stay in the kennel, we will contact the “vet” you listed during the check-in process.  If necessary, we will transport your pet to the vet for a fee.  In the event your vet cannot be contacted, we reserve the right to contact a vet or our choice to examine and treat your pets illness at your expense.

Personal Belongings

We understand giving your pet a sense of comfort and security during their stay at Lena’s Groom and Board Resort.  We provide bedding and bowls.  You may bring your pet’s bedding, toys, and/or articles that have the smell from home on them.  Please mark each item with your pet’s name and last name with a permanent marker.  Please do not bring stainless steel or glass bowls; we do not want them mixed up with ours or broken.

Feed

You are required to bring your pet’s own food. It must be sealed in an airtight container with a lid or a Ziploc bag properly marked with your pet’s name and feeding instructions. We have a refrigerator and microwave if needed. If you do not bring your own feed, you will be required to purchase a bag upon check-in. Keep in mind that switching foods can upset your pet’s stomach. We would appreciate it if you would bring what they are used to eating at home.
